Well. The propaganda kicks into high gear as the US Government tries to press Its suite against Syria with the American public. You know, Syria. Syria? You know, next to Iraq. Yeah, where we fought a war (invaded with ulterior motives and lies, destroyed, exploited and colonized). Yeah. Where’s that again? In the Middle East? Yeah, you know, next to Israel. Ohhhhh! Oh yeah, next to Is-ree-al. That’s right. Yeah, I know where that is.
So the US government, Saudia Arabia, Qatar, Turkey and the Good Wife want Bashar Al Asad, the president of Syria, to relinquish power. They would like the Muslim Brotherhood to take over the country. Oh, wait, the Good Wife’s new boyfriend/law firm partner is in danger of losing his license. No, it’s ok he’s taking the deal and giving up his license for six months.
Anyway, back to Syria. So the CIA funds the broadcast of two anti-government Arabic satellite stations into Syria (Washington Post, March 2011). Peaceful Protesters demonstrate at a university in Damascus. Students protesters call for an end to emergency law and economic reforms. The government agrees to make all the changes they’re asking for. Protests erupt in border towns near Jordan and Turkey and on the Syrian coast. During “peaceful protests” members of the crowd fire weapons at bystanders. The Syrian police force and army fire on the shooters. The US government, via Al Jazeera, condemns the “Syrian government’s use of violence against peaceful protesters.” Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, withdraws support of Syria. Saudia Arabia, a monarchy and Islamist state, and Qatar, a monarchy and Islamist state, demand Asad step down. The US demands the same. They all loudly condemn the Syria leader and government. A single party state. A Socialist state. In league with Russia and China. Wow, sounds bad.
Back to the Good Wife. What the HELL are they talking about? This is absurd. Do you hate Bashar Al-Asad/Syria yet? Hang on, there’s more. Satellite conversations between legal aides and Syrian “rebels”. Nice accent dude! Give me a break. Ooooohhhhh, ok so the “Syrian Lesbian blogger” (used to be a big joke, get it, Syrian Lebanese/Syrian Lesbian?) blogging from Syria is really a chubby, middle aged guy blogging out of Kansas. Sounds more like reality! Oh, actually, this WAS reality, a man in England pretending to be a lesbian living in Syria describing her persecution at the hands of the government. Here’s the link:
HOW MANY LIES MUST BE UNCOVERED BEFORE THE TRUTH COMES OUT?
